The Harri - Secure residential estate in Cape Town
The Harri in Cape Town’s East City Precinct is a cleverly blended mix of micro-apartments, co-working, co-living and thriving entertainment spaces. It’s the millennial interpretation of today’s live-work-play scenario, all in one spectacular building in the heart of a hip-and-happening precinct billed as a “must-visit spot for food, shopping and entertainment” by House & Leisure magazine. Situated at 75 Harrington Street, in Cape Town’s buzzing design district, the seven-storey Modernist Art Deco building is being redeveloped into 39 stunning studio and split-level penthouse apartments, varying in size from 24sqm to 117sqm. The architect is Paul Luck from Lightspace, and the interior designers are Dawn Dickerson and Juliet Eidelman from Hot Cocoa. In the spirit of co-living, some floors offer beautifully designed communal lounges and TV rooms, an open-plan dining room and kitchen, a laundry facility, as well as a rooftop terrace with a braai area. The rooftop and the penthouses have jaw-dropping views of Table Mountain, Table Bay, District Six and Upper Gardens. For freelances and/or out-of-towners who live at The Harri, our co-working facilities which include stunning open-plan offices and a conference room, offer the perfect environment to work, network or host meetings at. The Harri is the brainchild of Steven Lampert and Jeffrey Kleu. Lampert is the founder of a highly successful multinational home-furnishing company, while Kleu is an accomplished property investor, developer and broker whose most recent project was Park Corner in Rosebank, Johannesburg, an eclectic mixed-use development that’s had rave reviews in, among others, the Mail & Guardian, Habitat magazine, and Wanted Online. Occupation of apartments at The Harri will take place from October 2020. Units are on sale from 10 November 2019.
